Currently for our client who is a leading global IT services company and has offices in 52 countries and over 200 000 employees we are looking for a Data Center Administrator.


What we are looking for:


Support experience in Windows/Unix Servers, Network Devices.

Experience with Active Directory is mandatory.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Willingness to work in 24/7 environment.

Great verbal and email communication skills.

ITIL certificate is an adventage.

Master knowledge of networks.

Exposure to any monitoring/ticketing tool, Veritas NetBackup and Backup Exec.

Exchange/Lotus Notes, database, storage & backup, job scheduling.

Knowledge of any ITSM tool e.g.: Peregrine, Remedy.


Job duties:


24/7 monitoring and management support for in-scope infrastructure.

Proactive monitoring and tracking of tickets.

Monitor the IT Infrastructure with various monitoring tools: Tivoli, Net cool, Patrol, BMC, NNM, HP OVO etc.

Provide phone support 24/7/365.

Handle escalations and assist in creation of RCA's.

Manage bridge calls and notify respective support groups.

Interaction with Vendors and other support groups.

Creation of SOP's and knowledgebase.

Perform gap analysis.

Generating reports through Dashboard, Remedy.
